By the time you even have high-end Psi powers, you should already have 4-6 in your Psi stat anyway, making +2 much less dramatic a benefit anyway, and not all the scaling benefits are that important anyway -and the teleport beacon Psi ability doesn't scale at all with Psi. Just like in Deus Exs games and Prey and other games like these I can take the abuse if the candy is there and with limited character progress you get limited candy, to use this metaphore, and that is why the build in difficulty is not an option for me personally. But the fact that game limits cyper upgrades by making them more expensive is the one that I find no enjoyment of no matter how you present it.
